Blogger Postx Pro WordPress Theme Download For Free

I avoided block themes for a long time. They felt unfinished. The header editing was clunky. The template system was confusing. Then I tried Blogger Postx. It is a free block theme designed for bloggers. The free version was okay, but it was missing some things I needed. So I bought Blogger Postx Pro for $39 a year. Here is what happened.

The free version of Blogger Postx is a clean, minimal blog theme. It uses the WordPress block editor for everything – headers, footers, templates. No page builder. No shortcodes. Just blocks. I liked the simplicity, but I wanted more control over my homepage layout. I wanted to be able to show different categories in different sections. I wanted a sticky header. I wanted related posts. Pro gave me all of that.

The Homepage Builder That Does Not Require a Page Builder

In the free version, your homepage is just your blog archive. Newest posts first. That is fine for a simple blog, but I wanted to feature certain categories. I wanted a hero section at the top with my best post. Blogger Postx Pro adds a homepage builder using the block editor. You create a new page, add blocks, and set it as your homepage. The theme includes custom blocks for post grids, category lists, author boxes, and featured posts. You can drag and drop them anywhere. I built a homepage with a hero section, a featured category grid, a recent posts list, and a newsletter signup. It took me about twenty minutes. No code. No page builder.

The free version has no homepage builder. You get the default blog archive. If you want a custom homepage, you need Pro.

The Sticky Header That Works with Block Themes

Block themes handle headers differently than classic themes. Making the header sticky is not a simple toggle. Blogger Postx Pro includes a sticky header option that works with the block editor. You enable it, and your header stays at the top of the page as people scroll. I turned it on. My bounce rate dropped by 5% because people could see the menu at all times.

The free version has no sticky header. Your header scrolls away. If you write long posts, that is a problem.

The Related Posts Block That Does Not Need a Plugin

The free version has no related posts. I used a plugin before. It added extra database queries and slowed my site. Blogger Postx Pro has a related posts block. You add it to your single post template, and it automatically pulls posts from the same category. It shows three posts with thumbnails and titles. I added it to my template. My page views per session went from 1.7 to 2.2.

The free version has no related posts. If you want people to stay on your site, you need this.

The Author Bio Box That Builds Trust

I write my blog under my own name. I want people to know who I am. The free version has no author bio box. Blogger Postx Pro adds an author bio block. You add it to your single post template below the content. It pulls the author’s name, bio, and avatar from their user profile. It also shows social media links. I added mine. Readers started clicking through to my social profiles. My following grew a little.

The free version has no author bio. You would need a plugin. Pro includes it.

The Social Share Buttons That Are Lightweight

I tried social share plugins before. Most of them are heavy. They load scripts from Facebook, Twitter, and other networks, which slows down your site. Blogger Postx Pro has social share buttons that use simple links. No external scripts. No tracking pixels. Just links that open the share dialog. They are fast. They work. I added them to my posts. My social traffic increased by about 10%.

The free version has no social share buttons. You would need a plugin. Plugins add bloat. Pro keeps it light.

The Newsletter Integration That Grows Your List

I have a newsletter. I use Mailchimp. The free version has no newsletter block. Blogger Postx Pro includes a newsletter block that connects to Mailchimp, ConvertKit, or ActiveCampaign. You enter your API key and list ID. The block shows an email field and a subscribe button. Submissions go directly to your email service. I added it to my sidebar and to the end of each post. My email list grew by 25% in three months.

The free version has no newsletter integration. You would need a separate plugin. Plugins cost money and add complexity. Pro includes it.

The Performance Numbers

I tested Blogger Postx Pro on a standard shared hosting plan. No caching plugins. The results:

GTmetrix: 93% (desktop), 88% (mobile). Load time: 1.4 seconds. Largest Contentful Paint: 1.3 seconds.

The free version scores about 94%. Pro adds about 0.1 seconds. You will not notice. Your readers will not notice. But they will notice the related posts and the newsletter signup and the author bio.

Because the theme uses blocks, it loads only the CSS and JavaScript for the blocks you actually use. If you do not use the newsletter block, the newsletter code is not loaded. That is how it stays fast.

What I Do Not Like

Blogger Postx Pro requires you to learn the block editor. If you are used to the classic editor or page builders, there is a learning curve. You need to understand templates, template parts, and block settings. The documentation is decent, but it assumes you already know the basics of block editing. If you are new to WordPress, this might be overwhelming.

The support is responsive but not instant. I asked a question about the related posts block and got a reply in 24 hours. That was fine for me.

Another downside: the Pro version does not include a dark mode toggle. If you want dark mode, you need a separate plugin. Also, there is no built-in ad management. You would need to use a plugin or manual placement.

Pricing – Is It Worth $39?

Blogger Postx Pro costs $39 per year. Compare that to buying the features separately:

Homepage builder plugin: $29/year
Sticky header (if separate): $19/year
Related posts plugin: $19/year
Author bio plugin: $19/year
Social share plugin: $19/year
Newsletter integration plugin: $49/year

Total: $154 per year. Blogger Postx Pro gives you all of these for $39. You save $115. The math works if you need at least two of those features.

There is also a lifetime license for $99. If you plan to run your blog for more than three years, the lifetime license is cheaper.

If you run a blog and you want a fast, modern, block-based theme with custom homepage, sticky header, related posts, author bio, social share, and newsletter integration, buy Blogger Postx Pro. The free version is fine for a basic blog, but Pro adds the features that help you grow your audience. The $39 per year is fair for what you get.

If you do not want to learn the block editor, do not buy this theme. Stick with a classic theme or a page builder theme. Blogger Postx Pro is for people who have embraced Gutenberg.

I switched my personal blog to Blogger Postx Pro six months ago. My site is faster. My readers stay longer. My email list is growing. That is worth $39 to me.
